What is the NAA?

What does the NAA do?
As the official alumni organization of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, the NAA has several important functions. Firstly the NAA recruits bona fide Sea Cadet Alumni to join for one, three or five years at a time. Members create a profile for themselves and can search the alumni database for other members and old friends they might have served with. The NAA facilitates the official NAA Database. The second important function of the NAA is to host the NSCC “In Memoriam” website which honors the fallen alumni.
How much does it cost to join?
There are 3 membership levels.
· $15 Annual Membership (billed on the anniversary of membership each year)
· $35 Tri-Annual Membership (billed every 3 years)
· $60 Five-Year Membership (billed every 5 years)
What benefits to members get?
· An official NAA Membership I.D. Card. The ID card entitles members to all of the benefits and privileges of membership and identifies members of the association at official events.
· Access to the only official USNSCC Alumni Database.
· Access to Regional and Global Association Forums
· Occasional promotional items such as pens, shirts, stickers and other merchandise.
· Ability to run for and hold office in the association.
What are the requirements of Membership?
Individuals who have previously served as cadets in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps are eligible for membership. Current cadets are not eligible for membership as they are not yet alumni. The NAA welcomes all former cadets. Current NSCC Officers, Midshipmen and Instructors are eligible for membership into the NAA.
